Will the truth really set her free?

mercy“Mercy Triumphs” is part 3 in Jana Kellley’s trilogy about three women threatened by an inhospitable Islamic regime.  An American woman living in Sudan seeking to be obedient to God while at the same time abiding by the Islamic culture all around her, Mia is trying to share the good news of the Gospel to a people whose very life would be in danger should they accept Christ.  Halimah and Rania are sisters who have converted to Christianity in spite of the danger to themselves and their family.  Halimah, whose story is told in “Side By Side” and “Door to Freedom”, has found relative safety but yearns to see her family.  Rania, who still lives with her family, desperately wants her family to find Christ and to see Halimah again.

This story is the most exciting and suspenseful of the three boos.  There is more danger and the three women must trust God more than ever.  “Mercy Triumphs” is an insightful look inside the modern day persecution of Christians living in Islamic countries.

All three of these books are excellent reads and it is exciting to see how trusting God above all is rewarded.  Mia has even more adventures and some tough decisions to make.  This is a thought-provoking (what would I do if) book.  We may have to make some of these decisions one day.  I hate that this is the finale.  I would really like to hear more from the characters in Kelley’s story.
