Pray about everything

prayBelievers need to pray about everything.  We can pray any time and anywhere.  There are many ways to pray, but only One to whom we pray.  Paul Tautges answers questions about prayer and instructs with biblical principles and examples in his book, “Pray About Everything” and helps us cultivate God-dependency.

There are many, many books on prayer–some thick, some thin–but Tautges covers the basics effectively in just nine chapters.  He covers how to pray “in Jesus’ name”, how to pray for non-believers and governmental authority and when to call in help from the elders and the Holy Spirit.

The book is worth reading, if only, for the appendixes, which cover 9 days of prayer and seasons of prayer for churches, small group Bible studies and praying scripture through trials.

This book will be one to turn to again and again and to give as gifts to those who have questions about prayer and who don’t need to get bogged down with information.  “Pray About Everything” is short and simple, but includes a wealth of information and help.
