How Jesus’ miracles can change your life

miracleWe have often heard that Jesus had us on His mind when He died for our sins on the cross, but have you ever considered that He was thinking about you when He performed His miracles?  Maybe not individually, but He knew what problems humans would face in their lifetime and performed miracles that were later recorded by his disciples so that we can find answers to our troubles.

Healing the blind and the lame, walking on water and feeding the 5,000 are just a few of the miracles that have application for us today.  When we are overwhelmed, discouraged or afraid, there’s a miracle for that.  All we have to do is turn to Jesus’ miracles and find comfort.  Our troubles may not instantly disappear, but we will find comfort and peace knowing that our miracle awaits when we trust God and have faith that miracles still happen today.

If you are struggling right now, “Find Your Miracle” by Kerry and Chris Shook should be the next book you read.  If you want some insight into Jesus’ miracles and their application for today, the Shooks have delivered a unique insight.  I absolutely loved this book.  It is definitely one of my favorite non-fiction books of 2016.
