Destined for love, never uninvited

uninvitedThe enemy wants us to feel rejected and left out so that we never accept God’s love and His truth about us.  No matter who we are, or how popular we think someone else is, everyone goes through the feeling of being less than at least once in their life. We don’t have to remain this way.  We can choose to believe what God says about us and that we will never be left out as long as we have Him.

Lysa Terkeurst knows what it’s like to feel rejected and to be left out.  “Uninvited” is her way of showing us how to deal with these feelings and how to pray to restore our confidence and steady our soul.  God’s love does not reject or uninvite.  He loves us with a love that can never be diminished;.

Lysa’s transparency and vulnerability in this book endears us to her.  She can look back at the moments that tore her apart and see what God was doing.  I’m not sure I could share my moments of feeling rejected by people whether they intended it or not.

At first, I thought I didn’t need this book, but after the first couple of chapters, I realized all women need to read this book. Even if you don’t believe you’ve ever felt rejection, or if you think your pain has healed, you still need the treasures contained within the pages of “Uninvited”.
