A reset button for your body, mind and spirit

faith detox“The 30-Day Faith Detox”, written by Laura Harris Smith, is about detoxing your mind, body and spirit resulting in feeling better physically, mentally and spiritually.  Each day deals with a step to achieve spiritual, physical and emotional detox and helps you deal with social toxins, financial toxins, relationship toxins, health toxins and others.  Smith claims that at the end of 30 days, you will discover a new you–a healthier you in every area of your life if you stick to her plan.

I loved the format. The simplicity of the chapters preparing you for the thirty day detox is very helpful and informative.  The title could be misleading except the book seems to lean more toward the physical aspect rather than an emphasis on faith.   Also, it is very important for you to see a doctor first especially if you have health issues that may be exacerbated by the diet Smith recommends.
