Guide to Biblical Counseling

counselingAccording to Paul Tautges, there appears to be no difference between secular psychology and Christian psychology.   Both institute the same or similar methods and even Christian psychology fails to appropriate the power of God’s Word into the treatment process.

“Counseling One Another” is Tautges’ attempt to show believers how to counsel with compassion and God’s Word to implement changes that will last far beyond a normal, traditional counseling session with a psychologist.

Biblical counseling, using advice and methods from Tautges, can be comprehensive and compassionate.  Why can’t the church provide believers with the help they need using a biblical foundation?  God’s Word is transforming. God has given believers the responsibility of discipleship. Tautges helps us develop into responsible Christians who take their mission of discipleship seriously and with compassion.

“Counseling One Another” is an excellent guide to help us help people accept God’s grace and truth in their lives.
