‘Come Empty’ brings you into God’s presence

emptyAre you filled to the brim with fear, doubt, disappointment, frustration, anger, bitterness or even busyness?  Do you have unanswered prayers and lingering questions hanging over you?

Saundra Dalton-Smith’s “Come Empty” offers 50 days of devotionals designed to guide you into the presence of God and be filled to overflowing. We can’t overflow with God’s peace and love until we empty ourselves of all of the mess in our lives–those things that fill us that God does not give us.

Each daily reading has an issue, God’s response, Scripture, “Going Deeper” questions and a simple prayer.  If you desire, you can skip around to those days you feel are needed more on that particular day.

Chapter 2 discusses the 50 Day Jubilee Challenge which challenges you to let go of your pain and by spending extended time in God’s presence going through the daily devotionals and journaling through your experience.  There are 80 days total and you can choose the 50 that pertain to your situation.

A much-needed resource for women today, “Come Empty is an encouraging way to receive the reassurance of God’s love and be filled with the goodness of God rather than the darkness of the world.
