New Bible study defines the meaning of honor

honorThe “Foundations of Honor” video series and study guide is a comprehensive study of the core values and cultural effects of honor.  In the videos, which are 20-30 minutes long, Danny Silk introduces concepts such as the definition of honor, cultivating an abundance mindset, confrontation, skills for success, empowering the people around you, long-term relationships and more.  The Study Guide expounds on these concepts giving small groups ample material to reflect on and discuss.

Most of the material in the Study Guide is used during the small group meeting so there is very little homework between meetings.  During a time when people, including Christians, have forgotten the meaning of honor and how to practice it, Silk’s series is a reminder that we have a responsibility to our fellow sojourners.

“Foundations of Honor” is a 10-week video series. Each video runs for 20-30 minutes.  Class time, including watching the video, will probably take about two hours.  A Study Guide for each person is recommended.

Although this study is much needed, it is not for everyone.  The depth of the material and discussion questions may make some people uncomfortable.
