“Life Deck” by Greg Lull can be summed up in two words–“Be Intentional”. These two words can help you balance your spiritual life, your physical life, your relational life and your financial life.
The majority of the book, chapters 1-8, is filled with advice you can find in most time management books and books about improving your life. The most beneficial chapters are 9-10 and the conclusion where Lull discusses the power of intention, the stages of life and the funnel approach. These chapters are designed to help you “uncrazy” your life.
The book is helpful, but if you have spent any time reading similar books, you may find “Life Deck” redundant. However, if you’ve never read a book that talks about being intentional to bring balance to your life and want to know the hows and whys, “Life Deck” is an excellent place to start.
