“My Journey into A.D. 33” is the story behind the story and will whet your appetite for the book itself. “A.D. 33” is the sequel to “A.D. 30”, and I hope you have read or will read it prior to delving into “A.D. 33”. I enjoyed reading about Ted Dekker’s journey as much as I enjoyed reading the story itself. I think you will, too.
“A.D. 33” is the continuing saga of Mahviah, the Queen of the Outcasts, as she seeks to find the man she loves and protect the boy she has grown to love as her own son. Action and drama begin as soon as you start reading and doesn’t slow down. Mahviah is a courageous young woman whose life, though it has been tragic, is saved by the man called Yeshua. She desires to love by His ways, but she struggles against her own fleshly emotions and needs.
“A.D. 33” is an exciting fictional journey into ancient times (the time of Jesus). It has its ups and downs, twists and turns and, in typical Dekker fashion, leaves you breathless.
