‘Lazarus Awakening’ wonderful new book and study by Joanna Weaver

Lazarus BookJoanna Weaver inspired us with “Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World”, challenged us with “A Mary Spirit at the Feet of Jesus” and now she encourages us in “Lazarus Awakening”.   Her newest study, a DVD study as well, teaches us that by changing the way we view our relationship with God, we can believe that God truly loves us unconditionally.

Weaver has presented a side of the Lazarus story we may have missed.  Many times we concentrate on the grief of Mary and Martha followed by their joy at his resurrection, but we miss the application that his death and resurrection have for us.  In this updated version, a Bible study and helpful resources have been included and are a valuable and encouraging addition.

Weaver also has a wonderful devotional entitled “At the Feet of Jesus” that incorporates parts of her three books in the Bethany series.

“Lazarus Awakening” is an insightful study that will help you focus on your relationship with God and discover His true love for you in a unique way.  I was amazed at some of the lessons that were sitting right there in Lazarus’ story that I have missed in the past.  Now, each time I read the story of Lazarus’ death and resurrection, I will see things differently and understand more clearly.
