Are you “Longing for More” of Christ?

longing for moreTimothy Willard’s “Longing for More” was written over the course of two years as a devotional meant to inspire fellows of Praxis, an entrepreneurial incubator program.  The book includes 52 weekly devotions (five days) related to various topics including joy, work, trust, anxiety, worship, imagination, identity, anticipation, and many others. Every twelfth week is a Long Pause–a longer entry encouraging reflection.  Some are encouraging. Some help you focus on how Scripture speaks into your life.  The prayers are inspiring.  You can easily choose any topic rather than going in order if you find you need a particular message.  Just don’t forget the Long Pause during the twelfth week.

If you are looking for a devotional for the new year that will help you long to know Christ more, this is a good choice.  It is different from other devotionals and will leave you longing for more of Jesus.
