“Joy Jars” inspired by 11-year-old with incurable brain tumor

never give up“Never Ever Give Up” is the story of Jessica Joy Rees who was diagnosed with an inoperable and incurable brain tumor when she was 11 years old.  Instead of focusing on her own diagnosis, she chose to bring hope, joy and love to other children with cancer.  Jessie’s story is remarkable and inspiring to both adults and children.  At age 11, she found her purpose and spent the last ten months of her life bringing love and joy to others in the form of Joy Jars filled with more than just toys and activities, socks and books.  The love poured into each one is a testament to Jessie’s faith and hope.

Even through her fear, Jessie prayed for healing while at the same time showing courage through all the pain and treatments. Her father, Erik Rees, wants Jessie’s message to inspire others and bring hope to those who are battling childhood cancer.
