“Confessions of a Drag Queen Tupperware Lady” is a different kind of story about a man who wanted to become an actor but ended up dressing in drag and selling Tupperware. Before you laugh or think this is the most ridiculous thing you have ever heard, Kevin Farrell as Dee W. Ieye became Tupperware’s number one salesperson in North America for four years running and is currently at the nation’s top five.
The first part of his memoir is about how he went from being a starving actor to selling Tupperware in drag. The second part is more or less a sales manual for Tupperware and the benefits of being a Tupperware lady. You will enjoy this book if you are curious about a man who would dress as a woman to sell a product or if you are selling or desire to sell Tupperware. If neither of these apply, you should pass on this book.
