‘The Pretender’ Book 1 of the Caselli Family Series

Tillie is a soon-to-be 18 year old with wisdom beyond her years.  She has been raised not to give her heart to a blackguard.  Her mother, Rosa, has been praying for a blackguard named Noah for 15 years.  In a stroke of coincidence, Tillie and Noah meet, fall in love and the world turns upside down.  She must wait to tell her parents when she turns 18 in just one short month; however, a lot of revelations and misunderstandings take place in that short period of time and Tillie is left feeling disillusioned and like a failure.  When Noah met Tillie, he turned from a drunk who couldn’t hold down a job into a new man.  When Tillie sees him kissing another woman, she jumps to the wrong conclusion and her life takes a different direction.

Ta`Mara Hanscom’s “The Pretender” is the first in a five-book series.  In order to get the full story, you will need to read them all.  It takes some time to read but is an intriguing story.  You will want to keep reading.
