If you are restless, this new DVD study may put you on a new path

Jennie_restlessAre you feeling restless believing that there is more to the Christian life than you are living?  Do you have dreams you want to pursue, but your fear and insecurity are holding you back?  There is a new DVD-based small group study that addresses these feelings using the life of Joseph, the Old Testament dreamer whose dreams were put on hold while God developed his character, prepared his heart and brought forth the circumstances in his life that would fulfill the dreams God had given  him.

In her new 8-week study, Jennie Allen teaches that our restlessness could be a longing for more of God and shows how Joseph’s life is an example of how we are to act and prepare in our restless times.  She takes his passions, relationships, and sufferings and show how they fit into God’s story and how ours do, too.

Allen’s presentation is more on a personal level than most video studies.  She is not speaking to a large group and encourages audience participation.  It is more like the filming of a Sunday school class or Bible study session.  I previously reviewed “Chase” and was not particularly impressed; however, this was a great improvement and I enjoyed it and took away lots of valuable information.
