Experience the Holy Spirit’s transforming presence in new book by Jeff Kennedy

Father Son and otherAs many books as there are about the Holy Spirit, we should know more about this member of the Trinity, but it seems like the more we learn the more there is to know.  Jeff Kennedy’s “Father, Son and the Other One” was written to show that the Holy Spirit is more than just doctrine.  He is a Living Being we can all experience in our lives as we accept Christ and yearn for the power of the Spirit to manifest in our lives so that we can be productive members of God’s church.  We need to get to know Him in order to take advantage of His presence and power.

“Father, Son and the Other One” is divided into three parts.  Part one defines who the Spirit is and why we should get to know Him.  Part two reveals what the Spirit’s mission is and what He is doing on Earth today.  Part three teaches us how to embrace the Spirit in our lives.  It was tempting to skip ahead to part three, but Kennedy’s insights are relevant and pertinent to our understanding of the Spirit and why we should desire His presence in our lives.  The Holy Spirit was not God’s afterthought, but is a part of God’s plan for our lives.

Kennedy’s book is transforming and empowering and makes the Spirit real.  It is one of the best books on the Holy Spirit that I have seen published lately.
