Find the true meaning of Christmas

Seeking Christmas“Seeking Christmas” by Renee Robinson is a seven-day guide to celebrating the true meaning of Christmas is a great way to bring the family together.  Each family member has the opportunity to participate and Robinson has provided questions for each age group to reflect on the day’s selection.  There is also a modified question list for different aged children.  Each day presents an opportunity to remember (reflections of favorite memories), to read (Scripture and story), to reflect (family discussion about the selected Scripture), to research (meaning of various traditions), and to rejoice (an activity that will help you preserve the memory of the season in future years).  Robinson suggests journaling about the experiences to share each Christmas.

Even though it’s written as a seven-day journey, you may find it easier to do twice a week until Christmas or however you want to use it.  As a bonus,  decorations can be downloaded from the author’s website so that you can your journal.  If you are looking for a way to make Christmas extra special this year, “Seeking Christmas” is inspiring and simple to do.  The Christmas season is a busy time of year, and we need a reminder to slow down and soak in the Christmas story.  I can’t wait to share this activity with my family.
