What if…why not?

Kevin Beasley is unique.  I remember when I met him and his wife, Julie, and their daughter, Grace.  I knew then that they would do great things in Opelika/Auburn, and they haven’t disappointed.  The first thing you notice about Kevin is his openness and willingness to share his story with others.  It’s not about him, but about what God has done in his life.

why not bookIn his book, “What If…Why Not?”, Kevin talks about how his trips to the Alaskan Wilderness have changed his life.  He tells some funny stories, some tragic stores and some God stories, but they are all about the adventure of walking with God wherever He leads.  We all have a journey.  It may not be to Alaska or any farther than our own hometown, but God has designed us to experience life as an adventure.

On the surface, the Why Not book appears to be a memoir of a man who went to Alaska, experienced something amazing so he kept going back. But there is so much to learn from Kevin’s experiences. Our God is adventurous and He is inviting us to go with Him.  What if we gave up our inhibitions, our fears, our failures, our dreams, our lives to live an adventure with God?  Why not let God take control of our thoughts, our dreams, our lives?

If you are tired of wondering what if, start asking why not? Read Kevin’s story of living a life of adventure and be motivated to live a life of adventure.
