You: A diamond in the rough

The Diamond LifeYour life has a purpose specifically designed by God.  We are created to shine, but we can’t without going through challenges and trials.  In “The Diamond Life”, Tony Scott compares the journey we must take to become more than what we have become to the transition of a rock into a gem.

Your mission is to make a choice and then take responsibility for your choices.  Scott maintains that we need to stop complaining about our life and change our choices when we don’t like what our lives have become.

Scott’s “Diamond Life Formula” requires a decision to make significant changes in the choices you make.  If you aren’t willing to change, then you won’t get a lot out of this book.  If you are happy with your life, then this book isn’t for you.  According to Scott, you have two choices—to be less than God created you to be or to be all that God created you to be.  If you are comfortable with your choice, keep doing what you are doing.  If you want to make significant changes and are willing to make some sacrifices in order to do so, “The Diamond Life” will help you become more than you are.
