‘Questions of Life’ and more about The Alpha Course

Questions of LifeThe Alpha Course is an informal gathering of Christians and non-Christians who gather to discuss the core beliefs of the Christian faith.  Attendees are encouraged to ask any question without feeling embarrassed or threatened and receive answers that will enlighten and bring the Christian faith into focus.

Pioneered by Nicky Gumbel, the Alpha Course is designed to meet weekly for 10 weeks which includes a meal and a discussion time followed by a one-day or weekend retreat to further expand their fellowship and relationship with God.

In “Questions of Life”, Gumbel addresses some big issues of the Christian faith that are challenging to everyone.  Included is a discussion of who Jesus is, why and how to pray, why we read the Bible and information about the Holy Spirit and why all of these are important to our faith.

This book is sure to help non-Christians understand our faith and offers an opportunity to discuss why we believe the way we do in a non-threatening way.  If you are interested in finding out more about The Alpha Course, visit the website at www.alphausa.org.
