Experience the fullness of Christ as you enter the fullness of time

1 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. 2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. 3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”  (Isaiah 60:1-3).

The shaking has begun.  “The Days of His Presence” heralds not only the return of the Lord at the Rapture but also the return of His glory to the church at the end of the age.” (from the back cover).

“The Days of His Presence” is a book about the end times, but not the kind that instills fear nor does it seek to promote knowledge of end time events.  Francis Frangipane’s purpose is to help us become more in tune with the Father.  As we draw closer to the end, it’s important that we are drawing closer to God.  In his book, Frangipane shows us what we need to do in preparation for the fulfillment of God’s promises.  While not entertaining any particular theology, he brings us to a place where we can sit in God’s presence in awe and worship without being afraid.  Frangipane would like to see pastors and intercessors unite before God and reveal the love of Christ to their communities.

Frangipane organized the book well and created a wonderful resource for Christians looking for hope and comfort for the end times.  He does not overlook the difficulty Christians will encounter during these times, but puts into perspective the purpose Christians will have during the last days.  Even though this is a wonderful resource, Frangipane often mentions apologetically that he is trying to stay away from certain theologies related to the end times such as when the Rapture will occur and when Christ will make His appearance.  No matter where you stand on this issue it does not affect the events in the book, and because of this I felt Frangipane should stop mentioning it rather than apologizing for leaving his beliefs out of it.

Francis Frangipane is the founder of River of Life Ministries in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  He has authored numerous books and is the director of In Christ’s Image Training. You can find free articles and audio and video messages, please visit www.inchristsimage.org.
