‘Opening the Gates of Heaven’ for answered prayer and blessing

Do you get frustrated in your prayer life or struggle with unanswered prayer?  Do you yearn to know more about God and how to talk to Him so that you can feel His presence?  Perry Stone, evangelist and author of numerous best-selling books, offers up powerful examples of prayer from the lives of biblical characters and examples from his own life in “Opening the Gates of Heaven” his newest release.

Stone teaches about prayer using the example his father set for him and explains prayer in great detail.  He has included examples of answered prayer in his own life and how others have been affected by his insight.  Stone shares deeply held beliefs and backs it up with scripture.  Readers may cringe at some of the chapters but must remember that Stone’s religious upbringing and background have influenced his beliefs and his writing.

“Opening the Gates of Heaven” is a good resource on prayer.   Stone is not teaching steps to answered prayer, but is providing a guide on walking in God’s favor and blessing.  God may not always answer our prayers the way we anticipate; however, He is always available and listening to our prayers.  We are required to walk in obedience and by faith in order for God to move in our lives.
