Jan Johnson has authored more than a thousand Bible Studies. She is a sought-after spiritual director and retreat leader. I’ve never attended Johnson’s retreats in person, but her spiritual retreat guides are excellent resources to a personal retreats. In April, I reviewed “Living in the Companionship of God” which is designed to instill a passion and desire for a personal relationship with God.
Using the same format, “Trusting God for Everything: Psalm 23” challenges you to live each day in relationship with God by putting aside your worry and fear for the future and rely completely and totally upon Him. Only until you begin resting and trusting in God will you ever into a life of confidence in God’s provision and restoration. This book is particularly important and relevant for the days we live in when people are concerned about the economy, healthcare, employment and personal relationships.
Take some time and get alone with God. Refresh, renew and revive into a fresh, new relationship with your heavenly Father. You can trust God with everything in your life.
