Intercessors, it is time to arise and shine

NOTE: Giveaway (Please comment to win)

“Intercessors Arise” by Debbie Przybylski is, by far, the best book you will ever read on intercessory prayer.   It will change the way you think about prayer and the way you approach God.  A perfect book for a small group setting or individual study, “Intercessors Arise” will open up a whole new way to pray for yourself and others.  You will learn the connection between faith and prayer and see personal examples of how prayers (your prayers) change the world.

Christians don’t often realize how powerful praying to our Heavenly Father really is.  Przybylski teaches us that prayer is more than saying a few words and going on.  Through the use of scripture and her own personal experiences, she demonstrates the very power we have to change the world around us as well as our circumstances.  She shows us how to be ourselves and how to pray in the Father’s Will.

Pryzbylski’s book is meant to encourage people to pray by teaching them how.  She doesn’t just plead with us to pray because she knows it’s power; she provides guidance, chapter by chapter, and let’s us know there are no formulas or magic words, just us having a meaningful conversation with God.

Each chapter ends with a personal application.  It is important that you take the time to read it and do the exercises.  If you do, you will grow in your prayer life and your spiritual life and you will come face to face with God.  You will not just read this book once.  It can and probably will be used over and over again.

Because I believe this book will change your life, I am going to give one copy to a reader who posts a comment on my blog.  The winner will be chosen at random on Wednesday, September 22, 2010.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from NavPress as part of their Book Review Blogger Program. I was not required to write a positive review.
