‘My Princess Bible’: You are a princess, since God is the King!

The first time my little princess, age 4, saw this book she wanted it.  She couldn’t wait to read it, and we read all 20 stories in one sitting.  She was fascinated by each story written as poetry and easy and simple to read.

In addition, each story ends with a one sentence statement of the lesson as well as a fill-in-the-blank section to fill in your child’s name as God’s princess.  Andy Holmes has written a creative and different book of Bible stories that bring out lessons and truths simple enough for young girls to understand.  The illustrations by Sergey Eliseev are definitely original, captivating and very colorful.

You and your daughter will enjoy reading this book together especially if she is already infatuated with princesses.  The only negative thing about this book is that it may not hold up to the wear and tear of opening and closing and turning the pages, but any little princess will cherish it and read it over and over again.

“My Princess Bible” will give you an opportunity to discuss Bible stories in a creative way making it more interesting and captivating for your daughter.    You may even find a couple of God’s princesses you skimmed over without thinking about their stories and the lessons they share.

I know your daughter will enjoy looking at the pictures and hearing the stories, but she will also learn about the qualities God desires to find in His princesses.  They will enjoy being included in the stories at the end.  It can also be used to teach small ones how to begin a devotional time.
